Bark & Blades is a locally owned small business originating from Timberlea, Nova Scotia. We specialize in tree cutting/removal, stump grinding/removal, wood chipping, and brush removal. Bark & Blades is fully trained and insured meaning you can rest easy knowing the professionals have it covered.
Co-owners Riley Brown and Austin Hollis started Bark & Blades with the dream of being Nova Scotia's go-to tree service company. Both Riley and Austin grew up around forestry work and have been doing it for as long as they can remember.

Free Quotes
A member of the Bark&Blades team will assess the property and determine what needs to be done and provide a quote.
Tree Cutting/Removal
The team will construct a plan to safely cut or remove the tree. This could include trimming, taking off limbs, and climbing the tree. After the team will remove the tree/debris in the manner agreed upon.
Stump Removal/Stump Grinding
Bark & Blades will grind the stump down and remove it from the property.
Wood Chipping
Our team feeds brush and logs into a wood chipper creating mulch/wood chips that can be kept.
Brush Removal
Bark and Blades will remove any dead brush from the property and dispose of it in the chosen manner.
Land Clearing
Our team assesses the land that needs to be cleared and develops a plan to best suit the client.
